Welcome East Parents and Families
As a parent or guardian, you play an essential role in your scholar's well-being and our shared school community. We encourage you to actively participate in your scholar's education by supporting them at home, communicating with your scholar's teachers, joining the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Committee, or attending school events.

East's FACE committee is a team of East parents, family members, scholars, teachers, staff, and community members. The goal of FACE is to combine school, home, and community resources for scholar success. FACE meets once a month, and you can learn more here: /Domain/11291.

Every summer we survey families about what school-related topics you would to learn more about. Therefore, every month we hold a Family Learning Activity on a topic chosen by you. These activities are always held after each month's FACE meeting.

The best way to check your scholar's grades, attendance, and teacher contact information is through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The RCSD uses this platform for family members to stay on top of their scholar's performance.
We have a designated parent/family room in East, located in B109 across from the main office and Home-School assistant. If you're on the East campus, check out your space! There are school resources, a computer for your use, and snacks.
