INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACADEMY (ITA)

The ITA is a CTE pathway for scholars interested in any field within the Information Technology Career Cluster.  Our focus is on introducing scholars to the many career options in IT. The ITA offers a customized curriculum that combines IT fundamentals with “hands-on” experience.  

In the ITA pathway, students will:

• Build and support PCs and network computers
• Design, build, and program miniature robots
• Create programs in Python and Java;
• Design and build websites, video games, animations and more.
• Gain college credit while learning the fundamentals of MS Office
• Have opportunities for paid high school internships in the IT field.
